So it's prom tonight.
Wheeeee.
Maybe after this weekend, there will be no more stress and no more drama and everyone will love each other...
Then again....we always find ways, don't we?
I feel like I've gotten used to the heat already. I'm itching to grab a guitar and go lie on the lawn.
I miss lying on the lawn, but I don't have a kitty to keep me company ths year and claw at my back as I read Oscar Wilde. Hopefully, once we're done tearing our house apart we can find another quirky cat who will make us happy.
Hopefully Alina and I can go to the airport for no reason, and sit on picnic benches as we watch people flying the circuit, around and around again and again.
I like the atmosphere of small airports. They remind me of when I was a kid and I used to eat my french fries with vinegar. That habit left with the plane, and I miss it every now and again, even though I have to strain to remember.
It's breezy today. You can see all the little dandelion bits floating everywhere, promoting good luck and fulfilled wishes.
This photo is of a pillowfight. At first I thought Toronto was a whorish city, with all the people in the subway carrying their pillows along on a Saturday morning. Then we came across the mass pillowfight and I thought again. We didn't get too close, prom dress bagged and in hand, but were still able to witness the joy that beating a total stranger over the head with a sack of feathers brought most people.
Let's hope prom is that fun.
